Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were small and affected by noise from the bar until early morning, but at least they were clean. Despite these issues, my stay was peaceful, and the room was large, quiet, and comfortable.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay at this hotel! The rooms were immaculately clean and the best I've used for a long time, complete with a hand basin and my own bathroom that had recently been fully renovated. The location is very close to all the main attractions in Chipping Campden, right opposite the Church, and within an easy walk of the historic town center. The dining experience was super, especially the poached eggs, but it could have been improved if they offered breakfast till 10 am. The staff was great, very accommodating, and the service was top-notch. Just a fantastic place overall, though the outside could do with some decorating to be more inviting.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were fantastic with a lovely garden view and modern bathroom, although I wish we had booked earlier to get the separate bathroom. The service was top-notch, especially the housekeeping and the warm welcome drink. The location was ideal, situated in a charming part of the Cotswolds with the added bonus of a pub, beer garden, and an Indian restaurant on-site. The dining experience had its ups and downs but overall good. The facilities were excellent, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel offers a spacious garden view room with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, featuring modern amenities in the bathroom. However, the lack of proper closet or furniture could be improved. The location is perfect for exploring Chipping Campden and the surrounding area, with convenient access to on-site dining options like an Indian restaurant and a pleasant beer garden. The breakfast area, though adequate, could benefit from better presentation and more appealing options, especially for the price paid.
I found the hotel to be a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were stunning, and the staff was very nice and helpful with our heavy bags and car. However, the back area where our room was located was noisy, with people still drinking at 1 am, suggesting a loud atmosphere and possibly a lock-in situation.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to all main attractions in Chipping Campden. The rooms are small but with very good facilities; however, a hole in the floor just outside the bathroom could be a trip hazard. The service is friendly and accommodating, with a nice touch to have the room ready upon arrival. The dining experience offers tasty meals, especially the poached eggs, even though the breakfast hours might not suit everyone's schedule.
